We have some recommendations for you that will inspire, motivate and show you just how awesome other women can be!
Her Outdoors means being part of a community, girls together that enjoy the same types of activities but face the same kind of pitfalls. A place where we came to celebrate each other whilst totally understanding the balls it took to get out there and try. Her Outdoors is a place where we can ask awkward questions and not feel silly for doing so. Her Outdoors will hopefully be a place where I can meet like-minded ladies in my area that fancy going out and doing what I do along with me, and just maybe they'll encourage me out of my comfort zone and into some new activities. Her Outdoors will open my eyes to other activities and I can try and events that I may not have heard of.
Her Outdoors is the place to stop wishing you could be that girl and start being that girl! The one whose enjoying life, the outdoors trying new activities, getting nervous followed by getting elated and all in the company of likeminded new friends.
It’s trying something new (like wild swimming) and feeling good in the company of other women also wanting a bit of outdoor adventure and fun, while keeping fit at the same time!
Her outdoors gave me courage, to try new things and meet new people. I joined a wild swim and it was awesome, something I never thought I’d do, it made me brave enough to join a navigation course and learn a new skill and I’m really looking forward to the next adventure. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
Her outdoors means fresh air, scenery, nature. Meeting other likeminded women and encouraging and supporting each other. Trying new sports and activities. Being outdoors makes me feel good
Trying new things and seeing new things in the outdoors vastly improves my self-confidence. I realise I can do things that I never considered I would do before.
It’s more about the Journey with girls
I have recently joined as a member of Her Outdoors. Although I haven't been to my first event yet (will be going to the guided hike in August) I am really looking forward to it.
I want to be outdoors with no intimidation, no fear of my abilities and with like-minded women. That's why I know Her Outdoors is going to be a great community for me to join, and continue to enjoy and explore what the outdoors has to offer.
